We have a chalet at Pamporovo which sleeps up to 5 people. There are two double sized bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower enclosures, toilet and washbasins. There is a downstairs living room with cosy wood burning fire (also central heating) and a small kitchen. There is a restaurant, bar and spa on site. The chalet is availabel 11-18 Jan when flights are really cheap or between 27 Jan and 19 Feb - so still available for half term although flights might be expensive.

In terms of what we include for this price: airport transfers, 3 course locally sourced evening meals (including unlimited wine and beer during the meal) on 6 nights, a comprehensive breakfast every morning, complimentary shuttle bus around resort, use of our outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna, along with a visit to the fantastic local geothermal spa pools, and all the usual things you would expect from a chalet holiday with us. As a company we pride ourselves of providing locally sourced organic foods as we run both Snomads chalets as Eco-chalets.

Thanks for your email. We would love to look after your group at either Chalet Mila or Chalet Garibaldi this winter.

Bansko was recently voted the best value ski resort in Europe and with flights costing as little as £80 return to Sofia. In resort prices are much lower than other European resorts, with a 2 course meal including wine costing less than £15. A beer or hot chocolate is around £1.20 in the village and on the slopes is less than £2.50.

Unlike purpose built ski resorts, Bansko is a charming town with plenty of history. The town and the mountain are World Heritage Sites, protected by UNESCO. Bansko has the best snow record in Bulgaria and the winter season runs from Mid-December to Mid-April. With 75km of piste and 80% snow making coverage, Bansko attracts skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

The price varies depending on the week, but will be around £285 per person and this is for shared use of either chalet on a fully catered basis.

Chalet Mila is the closest chalet in Bansko to the gondola. The chalet is around 100 years old, however it has been carefully renovated to offer en-suite bedrooms while retaining charming original features throughout. The traditional hunter’s style dining room with its own private bar and roaring open fire is a great place to unwind, and there is also a small lounge with DVD and games console. The chalet sleeps up to 18 guests and has 8 bedrooms, let on a room by room basis or for exclusive use for larger groups.

Chalet Garibaldi is located in Bansko Old Town, just a short walk from the main street. The chalet is an old building which has been carefully renovated to offer en-suite bedrooms with traditional features such as revealed wooden beams and exposed brick work. The sunny dining room with mountain views is a great place to sit and chat about the day’s events, or play a game of cards after dinner. The chalet sleeps up to 20 guests and has 8 bedrooms, let on a room by room basis or for exclusive use for larger groups.

Most of our customers fly into Sofia airport with return flights to London costing as little as £80 per person with low cost carriers such as Easyjet. For the peak weeks, such as February Half Term, Xmas and New Year, it is often cheaper to fly to Thessaloniki airport in Greece, and the travel time to resort is approximately 45 minutes more than from Sofia.

We are able to offer discounted lift passes and ski hire to our guests, and the lift passes are delivered to the chalet on your arrival day to save you the hassle of queuing to buy them at the ticket office. Adult lift passes are £129 and ski hire is £55 for 6 days with a local rental centre that we have used for many years.
